Two New Caterers Coming to Columbia Waterfront.

First there was Poppy’s, a catering company that expanded moving into 189 Columbia taking over the former Jake’s BBQ space. That was less than a year ago. Then we heard that 214 Columbia (above), formerly water’s Edge Diner was also going to be a catering company. The latest news? Union Cafe at 126 Union, right around the corner from these other caterers, is following suit. The cafe has a sign up saying it is closed until further notice. Unfortunately we just received word that they are closed for good and the place will have new tenants and they will use the place for their catering business. Columbia Waterfront is now Caterers Row!
