Spring at the Urban Meadow.

The lovely community garden on Van Brunt and President in the Columbia Waterfront District, Urban Meadow, looks beautiful this spring! Isn’t it strange how spring seems to pop up all around you in what seems like a day? We noticed last week how gorgeous all their landscaping looked and took some pictures. The chickens, who were temporarily living at the meadow after Hurricane Sandy left them displaced, have gone home. So they will be adding another picnic bench in the area where the old coop used to be. Also, adding beds for veggies! (pictured below). Enjoy these spring pics.
