Rent Relief Applications Just Opened

If you’re a renter in need of financial help to catch up on back rent and late fees, applications for New York State Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) have just opened up. Here’s what you need to know:

- Is your gross household income at or below 80 percent of the median in your area? Find out here.
If you’re a landlord you can apply on behalf of a tenant (with info from them). Most importantly, citizenship status is not a factor in applying to this program.
