Redesign of Fort Greene Park Lawsuit Going to State Supreme Court

Any big news happening around Brooklyn, even if it’s not in our little corner, is something worth sharing. We love exploring all neighborhoods of our beloved borough and cherish the people that inhabit it. Fort Greene is one of our favorite places to visit and Fort Greene Park is an asset for all who live in and visit this area. A Department of Parks and Recreation redesign of the park has caused not only a lot of controversy among residents but also brought a lawsuit against the plans. One major factor is the destruction of 80 mature trees in the park.
