RealTours: A Day in Bedford Stuyvesant with Yanique Berry.
Oct 06, 2015
Yanique is one of Realty Collective’s newest agents. She’s lived in Brooklyn for about 8 years and currently resides in Bed Stuy. Below is her perfect weekend day.
Morning: I LOVE Peaches Hothouse. Nothing is better than a southern style brunch. This popular neighborhood spot calls themselves an “urban country cafe” and was recently featured on Cooking Channel’s “Unique Eats”. Another good spot in the area for a quicker bite to eat is Clinton Park Cafe.
Afternoon: When the weather is nice enough I’ll go for a run in Fort Greene Park then grab a smoothie from Energy Fuel on Myrtle Avenue.
Dinner: For dinner my absolute favorite is Soco. The Gumbo and Blackened Salmon on their menu is everything and more! Yummm!
Night time: A great neighborhood late night spot is Rustik Tavern. Good drinks and they sometimes have live music.
