Looking for something to do this weekend? There is so much and a lot of it is free! Here are a few ideas:
–Hit the beach! Tomorrow will start off with rain but the sun should be out by the afternoon and Sunday is looking nice also. Head over to Jacob Riis Park or Rockaway Beach and Boardwalk to kick off the summer season lounging by the ocean. No need to bring a picnic and both spots have yummy vendors waiting for you.
–Enjoy a free concert at Celebrate Brooklyn. The amazing brass band out of New Orleans, The Soul Rebels, is playing tomorrow night at 7pm along with special guests Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, and Kirk Knight.
–Visit a new foodie destination in Downtown Brooklyn. Dekalb Market opened last weekend and is attracting a lot of attention already! If it’s raining the first half of tomorrow, this is a perfect spot to stay dry and fill your belly!
