Everyone loves to see beautification happening in their neighborhood. New parks, squares, or simply planting more trees. Park Slope, though already a gorgeous neighborhood, is getting a new garden right outside of the Library on 9th Street and 6th Ave. There will be seating and planters for a community garden program. This is actually a great block for something like this. Though relatively close to Prospect Park, once you get closer to 5th Ave there aren’t too many parks. We will always welcome more green space! We’ll be sure to post pics once construction is complete!
