Jewish Academy Taking Over Moxie Spot Space.

Moxie Spot, which was a wonderful playspace and restaurant for families, unfortunately closed a while back and there is new signage up at the space on 81 Atlantic Avenue.  The Brooklyn Heights Jewish Academy will be moving in and ready to take kindergarten aged children and first graders starting next school year.  They are accepting applications now.  The space itself is decent sized, with two floors.  Below is what we’ve grabbed from their website to share a little about what they stand for.

Brooklyn Heights Jewish Academy encourages the growth of the whole child. Our learning environment bridges Judaic and general education, instilling a love of G-d, Torah and Israel, while providing a solid foundation to turn today’s learners into tomorrow’s leaders. Exploration and creativity are encouraged and a sense of wonder is cultivated to ensure that we are opening minds and developing a generation of life-long learners.
