The Barnacle Parade is an annual event on the anniversary of Superstorm Sandy, celebrating Red Hook’s community in the face of adversary. Parade starts at 4 pm on Thursday October 29 at Van Brunt & Pioneer. Block party on Pioneer to follow.

Since it’s first appearances in Victorian era séance rooms, this mysterious substance has managed to seduce, disgust and intrigue believers and skeptics alike. Once you’re back at the park, enjoy mingling with neighbors and elected officials with snacks courtesy of Friends of Carroll Park and hot cider from our friends at Travel Bar!
