How to Get Through February in New York.

January is coming to an end this week and it’s finishing with a cold front. You know, in case we forgot it was winter. Obviously February is not everyone’s favorite month, as we are right in the middle of the coldest part of this season, but it’s nice to remember all the activities and occasions happening this month to keep us busy and trudging along towards the next warmer season. First of all, Valentine’s Day is only a couple weeks away and we’d like to remind you all to make restaurant reservations or buy your concert tickets if you haven’t already!

One of our favorite things to do is visiting our favorite warm dark bars, preferably one with a fireplace, and drinking a hot toddy with friends. We love Camp on Smith Street. It’s cozy and warm, plus you could roast s’mores and pretend it’s the summer! Another thing to do is get out and enjoy winter activities, like ice skating at Le Frak or sledding in Prospect Park after it snows.

Here is a great guide from TimeOut New York listing different activities, festivals and special dates in the month of February. Let’s make the best of this winter!
