Crow Hill Construction moves to Red Hook by Maryam Daghmoumi

I would like to formally introduce you all to Red Hook’s newest addition to the artist and fabricator community, Crow Hill Construction, a.k.a Dry Dock Studios.  These are the new tenants, as of late February, who rented the retail and manufacturing hybrid on Van Brunt Street that formerly housed Tribe Bicycles.

The owner plans to use the front retail area as a showroom for artwork and handcrafted one-of-a-kind furniture.  These pieces will be created in the back section of the space along with their stunning interior and exterior build-outs.  Crow Hill is “a full-service contracting company that specializes in residential construction with an emphasis on fine woodworking and landscape construction”. Their fabricators and artists skillfully craft unique pieces in a variety of different materials. In addition to using wood (mostly locally sourced, FSC certified, and some reclaimed), they work with metal, steel, stone and ceramic.

I’ve created a gallery below with a few photos but I highly suggest scrolling through their portfolio of beautiful work for ideas on how they can revamp your roof-deck, patio or garden….just in time for spring! They enjoy collaborating with architects, designers and home-owners alike, in both New York City and the Hudson Valley, where they have another studio in Spencertown.  Please do take a moment to stop by and welcome them to the neighborhood!
