Climb or Zip at Bronx Zoo Starting Today!

Today is the opening day of the Bronx Zoo’s new enterprise, Treetop Adventure! There are two sections of this new park and both sound incredibly exhilarating.
First is climbing. On their website this activity is described as more than simply climbing. It sounds like an obstacle course in the treetops where you can “swing from rope to rope, skateboard high above the ground, and navigate your way through the trees”. They have different courses for different skill levels. The second adventure is zip-lining. This one extends a whopping 400 feet! If you’ve never been on a zip line before it really is a wonderful rush. Your heart pounds as you get ready to jump from the platform and after you’ve taken the leap the wind in your hair and view as your coasting is all worth it!
