Cherry Blossom Festival this weekend!

We’ve been waiting what seems like ages to write these words. The cherry blossoms are about to bloom at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens! This is one of our favorite spring things. Now, as we’ve talked about in the past, there are two ways to do this. You can go to the Sakura Matsuri Festival this weekend for a full on celebration. This involves lots of people watching, with many of them being costumed, and activities. The more peaceful way to enjoy the blossoms is to go on a weekday and avoid the crowds. Keep an eye on their map that changes daily to let you know when the cherry blossoms are at peak bloom.
