Brooklyn Bridge Park CAC meeting rescheduled for February 3rd.

The original meeting for the Brooklyn Bridge Park Community Advisory Council was supposed to take place during the blizzard so it’s been rescheduled for next week, Feb 3rd at 6:30pm. It will be held at Congregation Mount Sinai at 250 Cadman Plaza West, Brooklyn, NY 11201. For a little about what to expect at the meeting, read below from the bit they sent us. We all agree the park is vital to the well being of Brooklyn but many have lingering doubts about housing as a funding mechanism for its budget as well as growing concerns about the impact thousands of new residents will have on our already strained local infrastructure. Please consider attending these meetings to voice your concerns, hear about local advocacy, and speak with those aiming to keep our neighborhood strong.
