ArtShare for HeartShare Comes to Compère Collective

This November, Realty Collective and our shared gallery space, Compère Collective, are pleased to welcome ArtShare for HeartShare, a “gallery exhibit featuring artwork created by adults with disabilities participating in HeartShare programs.”
“HeartShare Human Services of New York nurtures and empowers children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, through education, life skills and vocational training, employment, residential, case management, recreational, individual and family supports, and health care services.“
So what can you expect? As Founder and Co-Curator Barbara Cuthel describes the work, “Their art has the creativity, imagination, energy and fresh perspective not seen among some trained contemporary artists.”
ArtShare for HeartShare will be on display at our 351 Van Brunt St location beginning mid-November. We invite and encourage you to stop by and view the work! All are welcome to celebrate the work of these artists and the larger work of the HeartShare organization.
