Realty Collective … Founded by Historic Preservation Enthusiast Founder Victoria Hagman is involved with various planning and historic preservation issues in Brooklyn. Her work in real estate has exposed her to the individuals and institutions governing public life in New York City. Her passion for communities and the architecture of Brooklyn have also led to her earning a masters degree in Historic Preservation Planning from Pratt while managing her real estate brokerage – no mean feat.

Victoria’s unusual career path – which includes stints as a carnival worker, band booker, and ‘zine publisher – makes sense to everyone who knows her. “Victoria is unlike anyone I have ever met,” says Realty Collective agent Tina Fallon. “She has phenomenal instincts, great charisma, and the work ethic to follow through. She seems to know everything and everyone.” She is a member of the Columbia Waterfront Neighborhood Association, Cobble Hill Neighborhood Association, and the Community Advisory Group to Gowanus Superfund. She continues to work closely with her colleagues at Pratt in city planning and community development issues.

Hagman is recognized both for her sales achievements and her reputation as one of the most trusted and admired agents in Brooklyn’s real estate market. She personally trains agents who share her commitment to growing a community, not just making money. While overseeing and working with each member of her team and their own clients, Hagman still serves her clientele from first-time renters to those with limitless budgets.

“Working with licensed architects and contractors has provided me with the foundations of an education on building restoration, new construction developments, and conversion projects, as well as many details about mechanicals from floorboards to boilers,” said Hagman. “We are dedicated to our community and to bringing a higher, more honest level of service to our clients. We aim to create not just a home but a connection. I believe people really need that here in the big city.”

RC, Rooted in the Community … Better for Clients? Why? Victoria Hagman founded Realty Collective in Brooklyn, an area rich in history and architecture, after growing disenchanted with other brokerage models. She chose to model one after her own ideals and interest in shaping Brooklyn’s future, while staying connected to its cultural heritage. When working with her and her team at Realty Collective, clients can count on nothing less than seasoned professionals, immersed in Brooklyn real estate and devoted to serving your needs around the clock.

RC agents share listings and work in a team structure, providing support for fellow agents, while benefiting RC’s sellers, buyers, landlords and renters. Agents generally handle properties in their own neighborhoods, so are very knowledgeable about the area in which their clients are buying, selling or renting. In the Brooklyn real estate market, Realty Collective and Hagman are renowned among colleagues and clients alike for their integrity, loyalty and professionalism. Experts in South Brooklyn properties, they are devoted to serving the needs of real estate buyers and sellers in destinations including but not limited to Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights and Gowns.
