3 day Brooklyn Folk Festival begins tonight.

Tonight at 8pm the weekend long Brooklyn Folk Festival will commence. With 30 bands featuring “the best in old-time string-band music, folk, blues, song writers, jug band, bluegrass, and traditional Irish and Balkan music” this should be a really fun event. This is the 7th year this event has taken place and, since it has been growing in size every year, it has had to move to a larger venue. This year it will take place at St. Ann’s Church at 157 Montague in Brooklyn Heights. It’s very kid friendly (they even have square dancing for families!).
