As Thanksgiving approaches we know we have a lot to be thankful for. Friends, family, and a roof over our heads. It’s important for us to realize this and the best way to show our gratitude is by putting ourselves out there for a good cause and helping others who may be struggling right now. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities around Brooklyn. Camba shelters are taking food donations or you could go one step further and join a wait list to deliver food to those in need. The New York Cares coat drive is also up and running and with the weather taking such an extreme turn to the frigid lately, there is great need.
