Our favorite Valentine’s Day spots.

Valentine’s Day is coming up and many restaurants in the hood, such as Buttermilk Channel, are already mostly booked so you have to try to get reservations now if you’re planning on going out.  There are so many options if you want to get a nice romantic dinner.  Here are our top three pics for unique places to go in the neighborhood on the big night.

1.  The Chocolate Room-Of course this has to be on our list.  It’s Valentines Day.  They serve chocolate in all forms.  It can get pretty crowded in here on Valentine’s but the delicious desserts and candle lit atmosphere makes it all worth it.

2. Stinky Bklyn- Opt out of going out with the Valentine’s crowds and pick up some cheese, bread and other gourmet goodies at Stinky.  Lay down a blanket in your living room for an indoor picnic.  add a bottle of wine and you have a very relaxing and romantic evening.

3. The Bell House-  Every year The Bell House has a sort of Anti-Valentines Day celebration.  This year, “Unloveable: A Smiths and Morrissey Valentine’s Day” begins at 9pm with doors opening at 8pm.  More info here.
