Updates on Pastificio Flora coming to Park Slope.

We have no shortage of Italian food in and around our area but this new Italian Restaurant, Flora, coming to 8th Ave in Park Slope looks very promising. We learned a few things from the blog Here’s Park Slope and the restaurants social about what to expect, which is fresh homemade pasta and high quality authentic ingredients imported from Italy. In fact, the word Pastificio itself means pasta factory. We heard of this restaurant over a year ago and the plans has stalled but as we passed the other day and saw the painted exterior the “opening soon” aspect looks more promising. We have no official news on this. The restaurants website and twitter page have both vanished and their facebook page hasn’t been updates since the spring. We’ll definitely give more updates as we hear or see them!
