Fast Food Chain Closed and New Tenants Plan Opening on Atlantic.

We are very accustomed, although saddened, to seeing small businesses close up shop only to be replaced with a Dunkin Donuts or some other chain fast food restaurant. We were not surprised to see Subway open up at 75 Atlantic years ago but still upset as we feel a chain shop puts a dent in our lovely neighborhood character. Well this neighborhood said “no thanks” to the big chain and Subway shuttered it’s door a while back. The new tenants put up a sign and it looks like they will be opening fairly shortly. River Park Gourmet is the name and even after some online research we couldn’t figure out what they will be. If I were to guess by the name I’d say diner or corner store. We’ll see and keep you updated!
