Brooklyn Daytripper: The Pumpkin Blaze

The fall is a wonderful time to take little day trips here and there and we have such quaint and beautiful rural towns surrounding the city to visit.  Apple picking season is over already and the autumn leaves, though still around in most areas, are starting to fall off the trees but there is still much to do.  Over the weekend The Pumpkin Blaze in Croton-on-Hudson welcomed guests from all over to view their display of hundreds of pumpkins lit up and arranged as different characters, animals, and settings.  The colorful lighting and spooky musical soundtrack added to this magical trail.  It’s a bit pricey, tickets for adults are $25 on weekends and children are $20, but it’s worth it!
