We can all agree it’s been an insane year for the country and we are all so glad to see that 2016 is behind us. Reading about America’s year-in-review has been just plain depressing. But what was 2016 like specifically in Brooklyn? We came across a piece in the Brooklyn Paper that highlights the major local stories month by month. Much of it has to do with community issues and politics but many are just interesting and sometimes silly stories. From controversial art exhibits in Williamsburg to high profile court battles in Park Slope to weed eating goats in Prospect Park, it’s a fascinating read!
